SCaLE 5x 2007
February 10, 2007
Today, Lowell and I are in Las Angeles, California at the Westin Hotel near the LA Airport. You may be wondering why am I in LA, and what is SCaLE 5x? Well, it's something Lowell and I have been looking forward too and working diligently towards for some time. SCaLE 5X stands for the Fifth Annual Southern California Linux Expo which is an expo that occurs every year, and it's about everything to do with the operating system called Linux. The expo is very much like the convention I went to last month called the Consumer Electronic Show (CES). Except not as big and it's only Linux related. Thousands of Linux users, developers, and affiliates flock into the Westin Hotel's convention center every year. There, some present their ideas in booths or class rooms, and most look and listen with enormous curiosity.
