The next day, we went to another restaurant that surprised me even more. It was a Mongolian Stir Fry all-you-can-eat buffet. The idea of the buffet is to pick out what ingredients you'd liked tossed into the giant heated dark surface island that acted like a wok. This was an open kitchen, so you could see chefs operating the wok, and spews of flames bursting. I gave the chef my ingredients then he tossed it all onto the wok. I stood and waited for my food behind a chest-high wall, which protected me by separating me from the wok, by only a few feet. As I stood there flames were spewing, they were enough to turn me pink and I knew if I stared long enough it could turn my eyes bloodshot red. Eventually I received my food and couldn't help but pig out, the food was so delicious!
On top of the awesome food, I got to meet some family that I haven't seen in a while, especially my grandmother, who I probably won't see again because she's moving back to the Philippines indefinitely. Overall my trip was really relaxing.
